Announcement: Erasmus+ Incoming Student Mobility (2023, 2024 KA171) – Final Results

The Islamic University in Uganda (IUIU) participated in the 6th Kenya Association of Muslim Medical Professionals (KAMMP) Annual Scientific Conference held from November 15 to 17, 2024, in Mombasa, Kenya.
The conference, themed "Unity in Health and Wellbeing: Collaborative Approaches to Medical Advances, Health Policies, and Career Development”, discusses Islam and culture in medicine, digital health innovations, transformative medical practices, multi-sectoral health policies, and professional development.
Representing IUIU, Dr. Naziru Rashid, the university’s Medical Officer, delivered two impactful presentations on “Predictors of Smartphone Usage Addiction Among Students of Health Sciences,” Dr. Rashid highlighted the rising trend of smartphone addiction among students in health sciences and the “Uptake of Hepatitis B Treatment Eligibility Tests Among Hepatitis B Patients.”
