Assoc. Prof. Matovu Highlights Successful PhD Dissertation Defense at IUIU

The chairperson of the Uganda electricity regulatory authority board Dr. Sarah Wasagali Kanaabi has encouraged students at the Islamic university in Uganda to build networks and prioritize their education.
Dr. Sarah said this while delivering her speech as the guest of honor at the faculty of management studies dinner held at the Islamic university in Uganda's main campus on Saturday the 10th of June 2023.
''Get your priorities right, do your best, excel in performance in whatever you are doing'' she said.
''let us build networks, that will help us have mutual benefits like business partnerships which will give you a lot of opportunities'' Dr Sarah stressed.
Mr Rashid Sesanga the dean of faculty management studies at the Islamic university in Uganda elaborated on the effort of the faculty to progress in diverse ways like registration of the association of management studies students, and appointment of student leaders at the faculty.
Hajji Ndaji on behalf of the Islamic university in Uganda commended Dr Sarah for honoring the invitation to the event. '' we thank you for sharing a bit of yourself after working within and outside the university.''
''This is going to serve as a lesson to those still in the campus to portray our true identity to the outside community.''
The event featured several activities including a band marching from the campus to Mbale city, a football match between students and staff from the faculty of management, and finalized by the dinner and handover of power by the old students leadership at the faculty to the new leadership.
