Top Turkish NGO Visits The Rector
Foundation for Education and Solidarity (FES) paid a courtsey visit to the Rector of IUIU, Prof Ismhael Gyganda in the early hours of Saturday 12 March 2021.
The Executive Director of FES, Mr Saim Celik told the Rector that the organization is inspired by the teachings of the Turkish scholar, Uztaz Said Nursi that emphasise faith in Allah, service to humanity , peaceful coexistence and excellence in scientific pursuits.
Mr Saim expressed the readiness of his organisation to partner with IUIU in realising it's goals including in terms of community service.
In his response, the Rector thanked FES for paying IUIU a visit, stressing that the university is committed to excellence in scientific pursuits and community service based on moral values of Islam and that IUIU welcomes cooperation both at local and international levels to achieve these lofty objectives
The Rector and Mr Saim agreed to strengthen the relationship through an MoU. Mr Saim presented a set of books to the Rector and promised to make same books available to IUU library
