IUIU Females’ Campus, Kabojja, Celebrates 63 Graduates at SENA Ceremony; 30 Awarded Tailoring Machines for Empowerment

The Islamic University in Uganda (IUIU) Females’ Campus Kabojja hosted the SENA graduation ceremony on the 27th of January 2025. The event celebrated the remarkable achievements of 63 graduates, marking a significant milestone in their educational and professional journeys graced by esteemed guests, including representatives from the SENA Foundation, Tika_kampala, and local government officials.

The SENA Foundation, in partnership with Tika_kampala, played a pivotal role in making this event a resounding success with invaluable contributions to Uganda’s National Development Fund fostering education and skill development, particularly among young women.
During the event, 30 outstanding students were awarded brand-new tailoring machines. 

The event also featured a showcase of the graduates’ work, with a fashion show displaying beautifully crafted garments made by the students highlighting their technical skills but also their creativity and entrepreneurial spirit.
